Supporting and Uplifting Language & Culture Teachers

The NISN Indigenous Epistemology Language & Cultural Cohort is designed to provide Language and Culture Teachers with a supportive, collaborative space to grow as leaders in Indigenous education.

At the heart of this cohort is the Community of Practice, a process where teachers bring forward real-time challenges from their language and culture classrooms. Together, participants engage in explanation, clarification, feedback, problem-solving, and reflection.

The first convening will start on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Details will be sent to participants after the selection process is completed.

Priority will be given to NISN schools—limited space for non-NISN school participants.

DEADLINE TO APPLY:

Monday, September 29, 2025 (11:59 p.m. MT)
