CALL FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST

NISN is accepting letters of interest for the 2026 Growing Together Fellowship.

What to include in your letter of interest: (3 page maximum)

Tell us about the history and context of your school community.

Tell us about your vision for Indigenous, Mission-Driven education in your school community.

Identity Development: Are there opportunities in your school community to explore and understand their identities as Indigenous people, as well as other facets of their identities?

Academic Relevance: Are students engaged in learning activities that relate to their lives and the lived experiences of their communities?

Holistic Wellness: Are students provided opportunities to understand and strengthen their wellness holistically (mind, body, spirit, and surroundings)?

Community-Led Design: What is the role of the broader community in designing and assessing educational opportunities in your school?

Tell us about how you collect and analyze data to make decisions about teaching, learning and leadership in your school community.

In your wildest dreams, what does Mission Driven Teaching, Learning, and Leadership mean for your school community?

Selection of Fellows: Each selected school community will be asked to support two fellows, one School Leader and one Instructional Leader. Please provide information on the two fellows from your school and how their leadership will be uplifted in your school community through this Fellowship.
